Many of us have heard of using a face mask to pamper your skin, like facial masks, hair mask are used to pamper your hair. Blow drying, flat ironing and color treatment often leave us with lack of luster hair. Let’s face it, we all put our hair through some rough styling every now and then if not daily. Damaged, dull hair can be repaired temporarily with use of conditioners. Conditioners mend damaged hair, increase shine and give you that smooth feel we all seek. Salon grade conditioners are usually expensive and we cannot always afford the lush conditioners. We found five easy do-it-yourself hair mask recipes that will give you the same results as those sought after salon conditioners. You probably have most of the ingredients in your kitchen already, so give them a try.
Mix one avocado, one egg and a tiny amount of lemon juice together until all ingredients have been mixed well together. Apply the mixture onto damp hair and leave on for about 20 minutes or so. Rinse your hair with warm water (not too hot or you’ll end up with egg residue), shampoo and condition as usual.
